First Post

Trottiscliffe School & Community Farm has been developed with the dual aim of educating the pupils at the village primary school regarding agriculture (where their food comes from); and to integrate the school and the community in a joint project.
It is largely self-funded (with some grant aid from the parents' association at the school, the Village Hall Committee; The Downlands Restoration Scheme; and the C-operative Soc.
We are mainly a livestock farming project with: two alpacas; four micro pigs; two pygmy goats; four Boreray ewes (with their lambs) and one Clun ewe.
We have a approximately three acres of pasture land (some newly planted to orchard), and a range of outbuildings.
